How long have
you been in business?
Bizar Entertainment was established as an Illinois Corporation On
January 1, 1992. However, Jeff Bizar has been in the event entertainment
industry since 1986.
Can we come see you perform?
It is the policy of Bizar Entertainment to devote 100 percent
of our attention, energy and service to each of our clients
on their special day. While you might not mind the observations
of future clients at your event, some of our other clients
might find this practice at their parties objectionable. Therefore,
it is our policy not to invite potential clients to parties.
Do you hold dates?
We have a first come/first serve policy. The only way to hold a
date is by booking it. We will send you a contract and give you
two weeks to sign and return it with your deposit. This two-week
period will allow time for an appointment with your emcee.
What kind of lighting is included in the package?
Trussle lighting is a 6 x 10 foot, horizontal, black truss system,
which holds 6 lighting effects: Flood lights, which light up an
area on the dance floor in blue, red, yellow, green and orange;
Mini-gems, which shoot spinning and turning white and red patterns
on the dance floor; and FanStars, which shoot rainbow beams of
light that spin onto the dance floor. You also have the option
of upgrading your lighting if you'd like a nightclub effect.
Can we customize a package to fit our needs?
Yes! Bizar Entertainment customizes services to fit each client's
personal needs. Just tell us what you would like to add to our
basic package and we will adjust our pricing accordingly.
We want a DJ but our boss wants a band. What now?
You can have the best of both worlds at your celebration. We have
available Chicago's premier band/DJ combination. Now, without paying
the cost of a top band and a top DJ, you can have both! A fantastic
band plays dinner music, rock-n-roll, motown, etc. During the band's
breaks, you have the DJ playing the 80's, 90's and current hits.
The whole time our professional Emcee interacts with the crowd
and runs the entire party.
Why would I need a mini-system?
You need a mini-system if we are providing music for your ceremony
or when we are playing music for your cocktail hour and it is in
a separate room than your reception. The mini-system includes speakers,
a mixer/CD player, and wireless microphone. This way, whatever
we do is amplified to the appropriate and necessary level.
Why would I need a big system?
If you are having 200 or more people at your affair you must get
a big system. That way all your guests can hear your toasts and
all presentations. The big system includes 2 extra big sonic speakers
(4 total) and more wattage guarateeing enough clear sound for the
size of your crowd.
Will you monitor the volume level closely?
One of the biggest differences between our competition and us is
that we constantly pay attention to the sound level at your party.
During the service of you meal, the volume is conducive to pleasant
table chatter. During dancing, the volume is turned up because
bodies on the dance floor absorb sound. Consequently, our sound
level is always appropriate. We promise a party filled with wonderful
music - not irritating noise.
Do you take credit cards?
We will accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover
for payment of your deposit or for pre-payment of your final bill.
Just call and ask us to put your deposit on your credit card.
What is your policy if we have to cancel?
It is always unfortunate when a scheduled celebration must be cancelled
or postponed. Your deposit is non-refundable. If you notify us
about a cancellation before six months prior to your date, the
remaining balance will no longer be due. If you cancel less than
six months prior, the full balance is due.
